Serie de figuras de cerámica que fueron pegadas en ciertos muros de las calles de Barcelona. 

 En mi visita a la ciudad en Febrero del 2016, con el propósito de ir a                                                                mostrar algunas de mis instalaciones, me vi sorprendida por la radicalidad de la ley antigraffiti que involucra todas las manifestaciones de arte callejero. Ante la desilusión de no poder mostrar mi trabajo en total libertad, vino una sensación de muerte que se acentuaba con las fotografías de inmigrantes Sirios perdiendo la vida en las fronteras, que diariamente publicaban los diarios locales.

Es así como decidí hacer figuras de cerámica, de rápida instalación, retratando mujeres muertas pero felices que levantaban una bandera blanca con el mensaje: HE MUERTO

Una ofrenda y reivindicación a la idea de la muerte. 

A series of ceramic figures that were fixed to various walls in the streets of Barcelona.

During my visit to the city in February of 2016 with the aim of displaying some of my installations, I was surprised by the extreme nature of the anti-graffiti laws, which also apply to all kinds of street art. Faced with the disappointment of being unable to show my work freely, I felt a sense of death that was heightened by the photographs of Syrian immigrants losing their lives at the border, which were published daily in the local newspapers.

This is how I came to make ceramic figures, quick to install, depicting women who were dead but happy and carrying a white flag with the message: I HAVE DIED

An offering and recognition of the idea of death.
